• Our Aspen, hand peeled and skip peeled dressers, nightstands and armiores all have the option of having partial logs as trim along the top edge of the furniture. • Our Aspen dressers only use Aspen for the trim. Aspen logs have a different look than pine but once it's planed it looks very similar to pine. At the same time Aspen is significantly softer than pine so it only makes sense to use pine on the surfaces that need to be durable (tops, drawers, sides) while still getting the look of Aspen by using unplaned logs for the trim.
